My name is Dana Marie. I love fake eyelashes, drinking champagne and singing to my cat. I grew up surrounded by theater. Living room cabarets were commonplace. The piano pushed to the middle of the room. Song, dance and feathers flying everywhere.  When I was about 4 years old I discovered my grandmother's makeup bag, full of wonder and blue eyeshadow.  This, paired with an environment that nurtured creativity, sparked my lifelong love affair with costume, song and most of all makeup.

Starting out entirely self taught, my knowledge and experience quickly grew working alongside and learning from some of Estee Lauder's most seasoned makeup artists, implementing techniques straight from Tom Pecheux himself. Evolving from my unique passion for beauty, I established my own business in 2006. What began with friends and family eager to have me "doll them up" for their weddings and special events has blossomed into an ever growing business. Makeup by Dana Marie has proudly provided services for celebrity clients, as well as traveling to locations such as New York City, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and the Florida Keys.

My take on makeup is simple. Everyone's face is a canvas, everyone has beauty within. It is my desire to bring that beauty out.

Makeup by Dana Marie is located in NJ, but fully willing to travel World Wide. She currently works with Scott Ray Signing Agency, as well as freelancing for Estee Lauder. The team provides professional makeup artistry services for weddings, glamour, fashion, film, pin up, celebrity, and runway. They are able to adjust to both big and small groups comfortably to accommodate their client’s personal preferences. Hairstylists are available for clients upon request.
