Dana Marie was a doll as we set up our meetings over email, and WHAT a pleasure she is in person! She was perfectly on time for trial and day-of, used professional equipment, and is just a lovely person to chat with. Dana Marie listened carefully to what I wanted, made perfect adjustments when I asked for a few tweaks at the trial, and when the wedding day arrived, I was confident that my makeup would be perfect. "Dana Marie was absolutely AMAZING!!! I can not thank her enough for the wonderful job she did on my wedding day, not just for myself, but for my bridesmaids, my mother, mother in law, my sister and my sister in law. Everyone looked stunning! The make up she applied lasted all day/ night, so no touch up was required by any of us. For me, she added on eyelashes that were amazing and stayed on until the next day, I LOVED them! We all go so many compliments on our makeup and hair, that I would highly recommend Dana. She truly was the best! Dana also had Kristie as part of her team. Kristie is an amazing hairdresser, who also made all of us look stunning! Everyone was extremely happy with their hair. "I can't say enough abut Makeup by Dana Marie! Not only was she super friendly, flexible, and accommodating in all our interactions leading up to the wedding, but also on the (rather stressful) wedding day. She was very helpful and a joy to have in our hotel room where all the ladies were getting ready in the morning. Just as important - Dana Marie is a fabulous and talented makeup artist! My mom, maid of honor, and I were thrilled with our makeup. After listening to our requests, likes/dislikes, she created a very glamorous natural look. We all still looked like ourselves, just - better AND it lasted all night. :) Highly recommended!"

We heard about Dana Marie through several different vendors and friends, which right off the bat speaks very highly of her. She was so flexible with setting up a consultation and ended up coming to my apartment in Hoboken. Even on the day of my wedding, when we had an unexpected blizzard that was interfering with all of our other vendors, Dana Marie was there early and ready to go which put all of us at ease.
I absolutely loved how I looked on the day of the wedding and it turned out exactly as we had discussed and how I imagined it. My mom, who is not normally comfortable in front of the camera, was so confident that day because she loved how she looked as well. "When I was looking for a make-up artist for my wedding day, I knew I wanted someone who was local to the area and who could make me look like a prettier version of myself. From the moment I first reached out to Dana Marie for a quote, I knew she was perfect for the job. She was extremely flexible with my schedule when arranging for a make-up trial and even drove to my mother-in-laws house to do my trial make-up session. She was very personable, professional, and immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed even on the big day. She even offered various make-up options for my bridesmaids all the way from full-make-up to just doing eye make-up. On our actual wedding day she traveled out to our hotel and did my make-up as well as the make-up for 6 other girls and remained on-time throughout the whole process. She did such an fantastic job with all of us. Not only was I overjoyed by the way I looked, but my bridesmaids and step-mother looked amazing as well. She was able to give all of us a very natural elegant look, which lasted throughout the day and night. In addition, to all of this she was extremely reasonable in price and I called 4 other make-up artist before I arranged for my trial for a comparison. I love all my wedding photos and a large part of that is because of the work that Dana Marie performed.
